You can enter anytime between March 15th and before midnight (EDT) on April 19, 2010.
CAN I PARTICIPATE?
To participate in the Solo Practice University “Proud to Be A Solo” Scholarship you must:
- Be a lawyer who has passed the bar and is in good standing in their jurisdiction of admittance and already operate a solo practice or be verifiably be in the process of opening your solo practice.
- Be a legal resident of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia, excluding APO/FPO addresses, and excluding Puerto Rico.
HOW DO I ENTER?
The entry period is now over. The Grand Prize Winner will be announced on May 11, 2010.
HOW DO I WIN?
The top ten (10) finalists will be chosen by Susan Cartier Liebel of Solo Practice University based on contest guidelines and their submissions will be posted within a private forum accessible by Solo Practice University faculty only. The Grand Prize Winner will be determined solely based on the highest number of votes by faculty (excluding Susan Cartier Liebel) received during the online voting period (April 20 – May 3, 2010) In the event of a tie, a panel of judges who are also Solo Practice University employees or faculty will determine the winner based on the overall creativity of the tied entries. Judges’ decisions are final, binding and conclusive on all matters related to the Contest. The Grand Prize Winner will be announced on May 11, 2010.
