Brenner Agency and Hanover Insurance Group, a top-rated insurance carrier, to provide affinity pricing for professional liability insurance.  This means that enrolled students and current faculty can obtain not only competitive rates on excellent professional liability insurance from a highly rated insurance provider, but they will also receive an additional discount of at least 10% on most policies.

The Solo Practice University Co-Op showcases products and services we believe are valuable, reasonable and beneficial to lawyers and law students looking to create and build their solo practices. SPU does not rely upon advertising dollars to maintain the site so we can carefully screen products and services before we agree (or not) to showcase the products.  If they really don’t work for solos, they won’t be showcased here.

SPU DOES NOT accept affiliate commissions on any products or services, including professional liability insurance, offered through the Co-Op. This enables us to pass on these savings to our enrolled students.  This is in keeping with Solo Practice University’s mission – to provide an environment where solos can learn the nuts and bolts of creating a solo practice, network and build community with like-minded professionals all on their own schedule and from the comfort of their computer for less than $1.63 per day for lawyers; $1.35 for law students.

All products and services are subject to moderated review with a 5 -star rating system. You can review other opinions before you make your decision to purchase.  You can share your opinions about these products and services based upon your experiences and we encourage you to do so.

New products and services will be rolled out on an on-going basis so check back often.  At present, almost all discounts are only visible to students and faculty who are logged in.
