Oftentimes we think those who have ‘made it’ have some magical powers, lots of influential friends, and hidden stores of gold to help them through the tough times. Seldom, if ever, is this the case.
I did find this placard. It is as good a basis as any to help you muscle through the challenges you are facing, particularly the ones relating to business, because I promise you, those you admire who you believe somehow have greater talents, greater resources, greater everything really don’t. However, I can pretty much guarantee you they follow these three simple rules.
So, for 2014, I encourage you to step forward into the sunlight, ask for what you want, and then go for it with everything you have. It is the only way to create positive movement in your life regardless your starting point.

Susan, great post. They may be simple rules, but they are not always easy. I think I may print out the image and stick it on the side of my monitor.
I’ve already printed out and it is on my refrigerator for my family to see. Nothing of value is ever easy. If it was we wouldn’t value it. Given the professional climate, I believe these are words that will get everyone started in the right direction and with the intention to succeed.
