Sneak a Peek
January 21, 2009 in Announcements, News by David Carson
Our launch is right around the corner. Leading up to the launch, we’ll offer a continual look into some exciting new features that are coming soon to an internet browser near you.
Activity Page
Upon login, you are taken to an Activity page where you can browse the latest courses, find group discussions, update your profile and much more.

Note: The system will greet you with a ‘Hello’ in a random language. Namasté!
Easy Navigation
Whenever you are logged in to our site, a navigational bar will stay at the top of your screen. It has multi-level drop down boxes that will enable you to go anywhere and do anything on the site. And the search box just below the navigation bar is so convenient that it enables you to find things you didn’t even know you were looking for.

Note: Drop-down menus and lots of other navigational goodies.
Directory Pages
Looking to learn more about a particular legal topic? Want to connect and start a conversation with other professionals practicing in your niche? Look no further than our Directory pages. Courses, members, groups, and blogs can all be searched in a variety of ways.

Note: Directory pages can be searched alphabetically, by popularity or by recency.

Note: Directory pages can also be searched by keyword. Groups are randomly ‘Featured’ in the sidebar.
Multimedia Support
Our ‘classrooms’ support video, audio, documents, and just about anything else you can imagine. Faculty members can record, edit and upload videos or podcasts directly to the classroom.

Note: Camcorders are not included with your tuition.
Interactive Comments
We want to facilitate conversations between students and faculty members. The comment sections for all of the classrooms, blogs, and groups encourage users to interact with one another. Avatars and profile links are automatically inserted when you comment around the site. You can even record and publish video comments.

Note: Don’t worry. You can review and, if necessary, re-record video comments before you hit ‘Publish’.
‘Til Next Time
We hope you enjoyed the sneak peek. If you would like to see more screenshots or even watch a video introduction as we prepare to launch, make sure that you are receiving our updates via email or RSS.

You do not know how big my smile is right now. This post came through my feed reader and shocked me for a second. Then I realized why my face and name were appearing in my feed reader and I got excited. The images of the site look great. I can’t wait until I am able to log in and explore all the features SPU has to offer.
Thanks, Ashley.
I thought that first screenshot would get your attention!
Incredible! What an exciting concept. I look forward to following this as it unfolds. So many attorneys are turning to the solo practice. Support is key.
I really like the site’s design. Looks great!
Do you have a sample video I could preview?
