Count me in the ranks of those who have read his book on How to Start and Build a Law Practice which really helped in guiding me on the quest to open my own law firm. Another great addition to SPU! This is really an amazing faculty you are gathering.

Todd, I have had the pleasure of getting to know Jay now for the past few months and I, too, am very excited to have him on board.

I also used the very book you mentioned in my “How to Hang A Shingle Right Out of Law School” class which I taught for 8 years as an adjunct at Quinnipiac University.

For many people, at that time, his book was the only life raft available to solos. He will bring an incredible wisdom to SPU as well as a wealth of knowledge on ethics which solos really need to grasp fully in order to flourish in the profession.

I have owned two editions of Jay Foonberg's seminal book How to Start and Build a Law Practice and found it immensely helpful when I was making the jump from BigLaw. He is a great choice for the SPU faculty.
